Below lists some of the suggested settings that you can try out. What effects do they give?
1. Reduce Stickiness but keep Gravity = 0.00 and Flow = 0.00
What happens when the Stickiness is reduced. Yes, plants begin to thicken. This is because low sticking probability means moving
particles have more time to explore regions that are deeper beneath the plant and hence stand higher chances to stick to these
parts of plants.
2. Increase Gravity but set Flow = 0.00 and Stickiness = 1.00
Are you creating a forest? What is the value of Gravity when the plants begin to touch each other? Notice the heights also become more even.
3. Increase Flow but set Gravity = 0.00 and stickiness = 1.00
See the effect of Flow in the plant growth. Yes, the effects of strong winds are truely in action!
4. Different combination values of Gravity, Flow and Stickiness.
The growth does not end here. Try different combination values to see changes to overall plant growth. You can even vary the values while the simulation is running!
Happy growing!
